Dandenong Oasis Otter, Race Meet

On the 4th of October, 2014 six of the club's members went to a race meet at the Dandenong Oasis swimming pool. The Oasis Otters hosted this race meet and it was an outstanding effort. Each and every swimmer who swam on this day should be extremely proud of themselves as they not only gave it their best shot, but also many of the swimmers received personal best times.
This shows the hard work and effort that our swimmers put into each training session, and we are extremely happy that this hard work paid off and allowed the swimmers to see how, by them getting their own personal best times.
Two members of the club received three medals each, these member are:
Elizabeth Calder who received a bronze for 50m Breaststroke, a silver for 50m Backstroke, and another silver for 50m Freestyle.
Natahlia Poli who received a bronze for 50m Backstroke, another bronze for 50m Freestyles and a silver for 50m Breaststroke.
Congratulations go to these swimmers for all the hard effort and work that they put into this swim meet, they should all be extremely proud with themselves as we certainly are.
